The day has finally come – it’s time for the Summer Ball! Just to let you know a couple of points about tonight:

- If you haven’t bought your ticket yet but are planning on coming please note that tickets will be available from the Box Office until 8pm. THERE WILL BE NO TICKETS AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR AT THE SUMMER BALL. Please pass this message on to any of your friends that are thinking of getting a ticket later.

- If you have bought an online ticket from SUTickets but still haven’t swapped your booking reference for an actual ticket you can do this at the Box Office until 5pm. After this point you will be able to swap it on the door at the Summer Ball, but we do expect long queues for this. Please note, you will need your booking reference and NUS card or photo ID.

Biggest & Best

Ticket Update (25/02/08)
Tickets for this years ball are flying out, with sales looking to exceed 3000 by the end of the week. This year tickets have gone on sale 1 month earlier than last year & are selling at a faster rate than ever. Tickets will be available until the end of term, however after Easter there will only be a limited amount of tickets left available.

Why will tickets be limited?
The ball is run as a “not for profit” event so ticket sales cover everything provided and the site is built to accommodate this. The Students Union doesn’t wish to gamble on spending money on marquees / facilities for 7000 people if we only sell 6000 tickets, as this money could go towards more artists or fun fair rides etc and enhance the experience for those who attend. The end of March is also the cut of point for licensing applications. This all means that the Summer Ball site size will be set during the Easter break based on ticket sales at that time.
